The course is open. . Please play to yellow/ red flags that are situated on the main greens. Please ignore the blue flags. Ride on buggies ok Some winter tee mats in place, if no tee mat is there,please use your fairway mat Fairway mats compulsory, Temp greens are "compulsory G.U.R." Please keep trollies and ride on buggies outside the lines around the greens and use footpaths provided, also do not drive over the temp greens and Please advise others to follow this advice.

Winter Golf Green Fees FROM 27th October 2024 to 30th March 2025. Fairway mats and hedgehog wheels will be compulsory.

Visitors £15 for 18 holes - £10 for 9 holes
With a Member or CC £13 for 18 holes - £9 for 9 holes

Bar and Catering Hours.

Monday Closed for bar and catering.
Tuesday bar - 11am to 7pm catering - 11am to 5pm
Wednesday bar - 11am to 7om catering 10am to 4pm
Thursday bar - 11am to 7pm catering 11am to 4pm
Friday bar - 11am to 7pm catering 11am to 4pm
Saturday bar - 8am to 7pm catering 8am to 4pm
Sunday bar - 8am to 8pm catering 8am to 4pm

Club News

Well we managed to get the new season underway with Mr President Alan Spencer introducing our traditional Captains Driving in in front of an enthusiastic membership, we wish our Club Captains Mr John Simpkin and Ms Sue Collingwood all the very best in their year of office.

The guess the driving distance was won by the following .

Mr Captains drive 195 yards
Graham Smith and Eddie McGrath both spot on the mark winning £12 each
Lady Captains Drive 97 yards
Nearest guess of 99 yards shared by four members
Steve Concannon ,Danny Greenhaulgh, Ian Brett and Ray Fletcher winning £ 5 each

VIP Parking
This was won by our popular ex Captain and former President John Coupe.


The sum of £332 was raised to kick start the Captains charity which this year will be the British Heart Foundation and the Captains will continue with the novelty make a splash donate your cash if any of your balls fall into the various water hazards around the course .


Once again many thanks to John Brooker for his dedication in running the fundraising effort on behalf of the Captains and the members .

Lets hope we have an upturn in the weather and we can get back golfing on a full course .

Buggy Hire
